A security researcher has discovered a simple bug in YouTube, but that can be used by anyone to overthrow the popular video channels.
Hismatullin Kamil, a researcher of the Russian authorities, has found a way to allow them to delete any YouTube video you want by just one click. The flaw exploited by hackers who managed to deceive website for video by sending videos identification number which the attackers wanted to erase, ITshqip.com broadcasts.
Russian researcher reported the flaw to research giant Google, who then arranged within a few hours. Hismatullin won $ 5,000 from Google for reporting this issue as well as an extra $ 1337 payment scheme affected companies.
A month ago, a similar concession was reported to the system of social network Facebook, which was allowed hackers to remove all pictures from different Facebook accounts.
