Facebook announced at F8 that is creating drones, satellites and lasers at its lab to distribute the Internet worldwide. The chief executive of Facebook, Mark Zuckerberg, presented drones "Aquila", who work with solar energy. The company will test these drones during the summer.
The drone will have long wings as a Boeing 767, but will weigh less than a car because of the materials that will be created. Lighter weight will help the drone fly for weeks, months or years, using only solar energy.
"Our goal with Internet.org project is to provide basic Internet services to every person in the world," Zuckerberg wrote on his official account on Facebook.
